Small Business Spotlight…Old Windows given New Life
My brother, Scott, and his girlfriend, Nicole, are amazing artists! My brother has been an artist for as long as I can remember…always doodling and even getting a “grade” in art class for the drawing he did on his jeans while bored in class one day. Together they own Wickedly Wooden, an amazing little business where they hand carve and handcraft some very intricate pieces ranging from necklaces and earrings all the way up to big skull and lobster Adirondack chairs.
While I am always in awe of the beautiful works of art they create…I am so very addicted to the new windows they have been creating. They have been giving some lovely old windows new life by sanding some, painting others and creating hand carved designs that they strategically place in the windows to make stunning displays that can be hung on any wall in the house to create a true statement!
Allow me to show you what they can do! (Needless to say, I’m a bit proud of them!)
And here are some of their unique necklaces.
And, let’s not forget the incredible chairs they create!
A lot of time and work go into making each piece that they create, but it’s truly a passion of their’s and you can tell when you look at any of their pieces up close. Looking for something wonderful for that extra special person in your life and not sure what – talk to Scott and Nicole about a custom piece. You can connect with them on their Facebook page – Wickedly Wooden.

How gorgeous is that window! I love the three dimensions, so fun!
On behalf of my brother, thank you for the compliment. I’m so proud of the work they do!
Wow!!!!! All of it is beautiful!
Thank you – they really do great work!
Oh my I absolutely love the old window come to new life. I have a fondness of all things old and especially windows. Love this.
I love recycling whenever possible. It’s amazing what can be done with old things.
I have to tell you that I really love the jewelry. I have a “thing” for circles and curves, I love the textures and the shapes. So smooth and delicate. You can tell that each item is made with a great deal of care, love and detail. SUPER super super. I had to revisit this blog post because I just thought it was so nice and really didn’t say enough about it last night.
The prices are really great too considering that are 100% handcrafted. I hope you were able to visit the Facebook page or Etsy site.
Wow, I love the necklaces! They are so ornate. I especially like the seashell one. I am glad that there are people in the world who are crafty and make beautiful art. I do not have any crafty talent, so I appreciate it when I see it in others.
I consider myself crafty, but boy when I look at their wood working I’m simply amazed. Thank you for stopping by and letting us know you enjoyed it.
I really like what can be done with old windows and if I ever get the chance to have one and use it as a decoration I will jump at the chance.
They are a great statement piece for any wall.

Thank you on behalf of my brother!
